On June 29, 2001, SOS purchased the former Fargotstein & Sons property at 2505 Poplar Avenue. These 1.5 acres in the Binghampton neighborhood are located in the very center of Memphis. The SOS building houses our spring, summer and fall SOS camps in Binghampton, while our SOS114 summer camps are hosted by Mt. Moriah East Baptist Church. Our building has the following blessings:
Ability to house and feed a maximum of 190 campers and 40 college summer staff
Lots of hot showers
Large dorm rooms & small dorm rooms
Open and available for you during the year
Room for worship and Bible study
Our shop with plenty of storage for tools and materials
Large cafeteria room
Game room
Courtyard for games and relaxing
Year-round offices
And much, much more!
